The Power of Internship
The first thing we must ask ourselves is what is Internship? well internship is a system that was designed for basically for on-the-job training.
There are many different forms and types of internships, such as with pay, non pay, shadowing, and hands on. I can go into depth with this just wanted to touch basis with just a few.
My long time friend wanted to know if he should take an internship job at a television studio for non pay? I told him it would be the best thing for him, although we need money to survive and times are hard, The experience he would get just being there would and could open so many doors for him. Although he is not a student nor is he attempting to go back to school, internships usually works as an exchange of services for experience between the student and his or her employer.
However his passion and I for media and making sure the right message is being put across has worked in his favor. The truth of reality is that the medium is the message and a lot of the things we put out reflects what we only know or what we have heard from others, The message that I received from him since his internship is that he now works for a small television company in detroit thats what's up fam be blessed and congrats.
